The Wollongong Botanic Gardens is a great way to escape the everyday with its excellent network of paths to explore and hidden treasures to discover.

In addition to the many garden collections to explore, we have an All Abilities Playground that includes swings, a sand pit, slippery dip, climbing net, viewing platform and a maze suitable for children aged 2 to 12 years.

An exciting array of activities and experiences are offered for visitors of all ages. Activities range from guided walks and community workshops that focus on environmental sustainable practices through to band recitals, theatrical entertainment, and sunset cinema screenings.
Check out our event calendar for a list of upcoming activities.

Entry into the Garden is free.

Download a map of the Garden, or explore our collections before you visit.

Wollongong Botanic Garden also manages the following sites as annexes to the Botanic Garden Puckey’s Estate Nature Reserve, Mount Keira Summit Park and Korrongulla Wetland.
