We want our community to stay safe. Thank you for your understanding.


Our school holiday programs run during every term break for four-five days (depending upon public holidays). All programs are planned around an environmental theme, include interactive and hands-on activities and are focused on teaching kids about the natural environment and sustainability.​

Discovering Sculptures

Monday 20 April to Friday 24 April,
10am to 1pm daily​

Get creative in the garden these school holidays and explore the Sculpture in the Garden exhibition while it's here!'

Daily activities include:

 - Ziggy's Incredible Recycled Time Machine Show

 - Secret Sculpture Treasure Hunt

 - Build a Sculpture Craft Activity

Cost: $13.50 per child. $24 for family of two or more children. 
A child ticket is required for children over 3 years. No cost for supervising adults.​

Frequently asked questions

Age range: Activities are suitable for children aged 3 to 10 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Younger siblings may participate.

Where can I get tickets?  Tickets purchased via Eventbrite may be used on any day within the Autumn School Holiday Program. 

Tickets will also be available for purchase on the day via debit/credit (except Amex) only from the information desk located south of the playground.

Group bookings: Large groups need to reserve a spot by contacting the Botanic Garden office on (02) 4227 7667 or emailing

Check in: Please check in with your ticket at the information desk located south of the playground.

Parking: Closest Garden carpark and entrance: 40 Murphys Avenue, Keiraville  

Food and beverages: Sausage sizzle sandwiches are available for purchase from the Lions Club. Our on-site coffee van, Garden Grounds Cafe also has drinks and snacks for sale.​

Entry into the Garden is free.

Wollongong Botanic Garden accepts Companion Cards. When cardholders present their Eventbrite ticket and their companion card at the beginning of the Garden tour or workshop their companion will be able to participate for free. ​
