Our school holiday programs run during every term break for four-five days (depending upon public holidays). All programs are planned around an environmental theme, include interactive and hands-on activities and are focused on teaching kids about the natural environment and sustainability.
Hocus Pocus Abracadabra!
30 September to 3 October, 10am to 1pm daily
There’s plenty of spills and thrills in store, and lots of fun crafts to enjoy at the Botanic Garden this spring. Young Wizards will need to grab their wands and fasten seatbelts as they take part in a medieval adventure of wizardry and magic as they uncover the true identity of mysterious creatures.
Daily activities include:
Activities are suitable for children aged 5 to 10 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost: $13.50 per child. $24 for family of two or more children.
Younger siblings may participate. A child ticket is required for children over 3 years. No cost for supervising adults.
For individuals and families, bookings can be made via Eventbrite. Tickets purchased via Eventbrite may be used on any day within the holiday program.
Tickets will also be available for purchase on the day via debit/credit (except Amex) only from the information desk located south of the playground.

Sausage sizzle sandwiches are available for purchase from the Lions Club.
Our on-site coffee van, Garden Grounds Cafe also has drinks and snacks for sale.
Wollongong Botanic Garden accepts Companion Cards. When cardholders present their Eventbrite ticket and their companion card at the beginning of the Garden tour or workshop their companion will be able to participate for free.
